Rebecca spent a fortnight concentrating on ‘The Fine Art of Rejection’ by making paper objects from failed applications and rejection letters. Rebecca invited the audience to contribute by submitting their own rejection letters, failed academic or job applications, personal rebuttals, or simply any paper based material concerning rejection via the galleries letterbox.

Part way through her residency Rebecca hosted a Rejection Letter Amnesty Event in the gallery and encouraged audiences to submit stories and anecdotes of rejection.

Improvised, rejection themed music and reading was provided by, Scott Senogles, Rus Pearson (double bass), Sean Foran (Electric Piano)
