Over the course of her residency Grace developed an interest in the connections that create networks of stories and narratives in Leeds. By simply asking people to come and talk to her, and by using hand written text in the gallery window as a catalyst or framework for conversation, Grace explored the cyclic properties of conversation and collective experience of the everyday.

For the residency showcase Grace explored the manner in which these processes operate at the micro level. Grace used the window space as oversized scrap book to document and prompt the small things that connect us.
